Bio Society is one of many projects established to ensure that Samsø becomes a full Circular Island by 2030. Samsø’s mission is one of the world’s most ambitious projects within the field.

 

Our part in the transformation is initiating circular change and sustainable growth. We make sure that circular economy business plan is developed and can be implemented all through the island.

 

In Bio Society we are looking specifically at Samsø’s main occupation, agriculture. We rethink the agriculture production chain by looking at cultivating, processing, use of by-products and the market. Our main focus is on waste water and biomass.

 

Our work method in Bio Society consists of business development, establishing partnerships and engaged collaborations. We find the funding and initiate the change.
